Prof. Christian Kazner

Christian is an international expert in water management and teaches urban water management at the Bochum University of Applied Sciences, Germany. He worked along the whole water cycle with particular expertise in water and wastewater treatment and reuse. Christian has more than 25 years of experience in water industry having worked as lecturer, team leader in water research, international project manager and consulting engineer. His expertise in water includes integrated water resources management, alternative water sources and water stress mitigation, industrial water management and water recycling. He worked with regional, national and international funding organizations and water associations as well as industrial partners. Christian is an active member of Water Europe and served till 2020 as editor for the IWA Journals Water Science and Technology and Water Science and Technology. His vast teaching experience at the highest level of education is expected to be very helpful in terms of moulding teaching curriculum more efficient and effective way.
