Naoko Kuroda

ICETT, Japan

Naoko Kuroda studied environmental policy and economics at Kyoto University in Japan and London School of Economics and Political Science in the United Kingdom. Currently she works at International centre for Environmental Technology Transfer, a public-interest, non-profit organization that supports developing countries realizing environmentally-friendly and sustainable society through capacity building and technology transfer. Naoko is also the mother of a 7-year-old son and a 12-year-old daughter. In addition to her personal experience going through the Japanese educational systemherself and as a parent, she had a chance to have a glimpse of the education system under the International Baccalaureate at Vienna International School in Austria where her family lived for 3 years.
